Delete your account and data

OsteoFlow Assess is developed by AK BioSystems. This page explains how to delete your account and all the data associated with it.

Deleting from inside the app (recommended)

1. Open OsteoFlow Assess on your device.
2. Go to Settings → Cloud account.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Deleting by e-mail

If you cannot access the app, e-mail contact.akbiosystems@gmail.com with the subject “Delete OsteoFlow account”, from the same address registered on the account. We reply within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of the request.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently erase from our servers:

• the login account (e-mail and authentication credentials);
• every person you registered, including name, date of birth, national ID and contact details;
• all clinical assessments, scale answers, pain maps, summaries, intervention plans and guidance;
• images attached to assessments and consent-form signatures;
• scheduling and finance records;
• the encrypted cloud backup linked to the account.

What is retained, and for how long

• Nothing is kept in identifiable form after deletion. We do not keep a copy of clinical data.
• Infrastructure backups: technical database backups may still contain the data for up to 30 days after deletion, until overwritten by the normal retention cycle. They are never accessed or used to restore deleted accounts.
• Access logs: IP address and request timestamps are kept for up to 90 days for security and abuse prevention, with no clinical data.
• Legally required records: where a legal or tax obligation applies, we keep only the minimum required, for the period the law requires.

Data stored on your device

OsteoFlow Assess works offline, so a copy of your data lives on the device itself. Deleting the account removes the cloud data but not that local copy. To remove it, uninstall the app or go to Android Settings → Apps → OsteoFlow Assess → Storage → Clear data.

About the data of the people you see

For the records you create in the app, you are the data controller and AK BioSystems acts as the processor. Requests from those people for access, correction, portability or deletion should be directed to you. The app lets you delete a single session, or a person with their full history, without deleting your whole account.
